Delores C. (Pretz) Lathrem, 94, passed away from this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of the late Leonard R. Lathrem for 60 years prior to his passing in 2014.

She is survived by her son, Galen Lathrem of Stewartstown; and daughters, Denise Lathrem of Belleview, Fla., Kimberly Hankins of Luray, Va. and Lori Kelley of Gaithersburg, Md. Delores is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Michael Pretz and her sister Ruth Mancuso.

Delores was born in Erie, PA, on March 1, 1930, to the late Richard M. and Leona (O'Day) Pretz. After graduating from Erie High School in 1947,

Delores and her best friend Evelyn traveled to California. Delores worked as a photo color artist and as a "Rosie the Riveter" while working to earn her LPN nursing certification.

Delores was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very talented and gifted artist. She enjoyed spending time at her local senior center. She was a parishioner at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. Delores and her husband Leonard delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and were volunteers and benefactors to numerous charities.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, December 23, 2024, 12:00 at St. John the Baptist Cemetery; 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349.
