Dennis L. Nace

Dennis L. Nace, 54, of Loganville passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 10, 2023. He was the loving husband of Jennifer (Waltersdorff) Nace to whom he was married 29 years and proud father to his sons, Matthew J. Nace and Ethan P. Nace and was looking forward to adding a daughter, Erica Schweitzer, to the family at her and Matthew’s wedding later this year. Born in York he was the son of the late Richard and Annabelle Nace. Dennis was a proud Marine Corps veteran and a member of American Legion Post 605 in Dallastown. Dennis was very active in his community. He was a member of Loganville Fire Company for 29 years serving as a line officer and currently serving as Treasurer. He was a former member of Rose Fire Company in New Freedom. Dennis was an Eagle Scout and performed various roles in Boy Scouts as both of his sons earned their Eagle Scouts with Troop 69 in Jacobus. He worked as a systems architect at PHEAA for 27 years. Dennis also leaves behind his brothers, Gregory Nace and Kevin (Kim) Nace, nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, at Hartenstein’s Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 North Second Street, New Freedom, PA. A memorial service will be on Friday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church 74 East Forrest Avenue, Shrewsbury, PA with a visitation at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loganville Fire Company, PO Box 141, Loganville, PA 17342.
