Diana L. Copp (Bowers)

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Diana L. (Bowers) Copp, 67, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in York.She was the loving wife of Dr. Arthur L. Copp, with whom she celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on October 4th. Diana was born March 11, 1950 in Rock Island, IL to the late Betty Lou (Reynolds) and LeRoy Bowers, Jr.She was a member of Shrewsbury Assembly of God and was also a member of the church choir.She volunteered for the SYC Youth Club for several years and also the York Little Theatre.Her passion was being a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and songstress. She is survived by her husband; 7 children, Cheryl Archer and husband John, Brian Copp and wife Melissa, Christian Copp and wife Erin, Doug Copp and wife Heather, Darin Copp and wife Deanna, Dustin Copp and wife Flora and Ashleigh Ruppel and husband John; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Randal LeRoy Bowers and wife Gloria and Trent Alan Bowers and wife Rhonda. Public viewing will be from 2pm until a funeral service begins at 5pm on Sunday, November 19 at Shrewsbury Assembly of God, 234 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA 17361. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to Shrewsbury Assembly of God, Women’s Ministries at the address above.
