Diane J. Rocker

Diane J. Rocker, 75, passed from this life on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was the loving wife to John F. Rocker and they celebrated 54 years of marriage on June 30, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Evelyn M. (Holt) Garey.

Diane had worked as a hair stylist for many years. She became a full time stay at home mother. Being a grandmother to Lindsay and Tyler was the joy of her life. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, caring for hummingbirds, crocheting, cooking, and baking.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Michelle L. Wisnom and her husband, David of Stewartstown, and Jennifer L. Smith and her husband, Scott of White Hall, Maryland; two grandchildren, Lindsay Wisnom and Tyler Smith; and three siblings, Frank Garey and his wife, Patty of Essex, Maryland, Lyn Crosswhite and her husband, Bob of Portland, Oregon and Arizona, and Art Garey and his wife, Nan of Middle River, Maryland. Diane was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Garey and Dave Garey.

On Saturday, July 22, 2023, the family will be having a Celebration of Life for Diane. There will be a service for her starting at 2 p.m. at West Liberty United Methodist Church in White Hall, Maryland. Following the service will be a meal served in the hall with drinks and desserts. Please RSVP as soon as possible so that the family can get a head count for the meal. Please come celebrate the life of Dee who was such an amazing daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, etc. She was one of a kind and is greatly missed.
