Dolores D. "Cookie" Cook

Dolores Del Rio “Cookie” Cook, 83, went to be with the lord Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA. Dolores resided in Selinsgrove, PA for 74 years. She was born in Jones Creek, Baltimore County on December 20, 1936. A daughter of the late George and Cora McGraw. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Freedom, PA. Dolores leaves two sisters Bonnie Houston of New Freedom, and Judy Ochterbeck of Loganville, 1 step-brother George McGraw and his wife Carol of Panama City Beach, FL; 1 niece Stacy Houston Flaherty and her husband Tim; a nephew Steven Herbert and his wife Lori; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother in law Bert Ochterbeck, a niece Debbie Helfrey, and a nephew Curt Noragong. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 175 East Main Street, P.O. Box 25, New Freedom, PA 17349 in Dolores’ memory.
