Donald Baumiller

Donald Richard Baumiller, 73, passed away at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson on Thursday August 20th. He was the loving husband to Carmel (Reilly) Baumiller. Donald was born to Cyril Baumiller and Irene (Szynkielewski) in Baltimore, MD. Donald honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for Baltimore County as a signal mechanic and was with the county for over 30 years. Donald loved sports, specifically football, basketball, and lacrosse. Often you could find him near a TV rooting for the Baltimore Ravens, or the University of MD. He was very outgoing and social. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family around the pool. In addition to his wife Carmel, Donald is survived by his children Richard Baumiller, and Beth Minkiewicz and her husband Chris; 2 granddaughters Emma and Reilly Minkiewicz; and a sister Carol McEvoy. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Don McEvoy. On Wednesday August 26, there will be a visitation from 10 AM until a Funeral Mass begins at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave, New Freedom, PA 17349. Rev. Benjamin J. Dunkelberger will officiate the service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Milton J.
