Donald Joseph Schlogl entered into rest on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at The Village of Shrewsbury.He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on April 9, 1944, to the late Carl and Ann (Charleville) Schlogl. After graduating from high school he began a life long carrier in the trucking industry. He was raised a Master Mason in Walshville, Ill., and belonged to Denton Lodge #404 in Denton, N.C. He was a Certified Lecturer in N.C. Don is survived by his companion, Lois Holloway, and her daughters, Dana Dicus and Dawn (Shea) Stoner, and grandchildren, Madisyn and Braxton Stoner; son, Donald Schlogl of St. Louis, Mo.; and daughter, Jennifer Schlogl, and grandson, Peyton Norris, both of Lake Placid, Fla. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Carl Schlogl of Savannah, Ga., Edward Schlogl of St. Louis, Mo., Joyce Wells of Picaqune, Miss., and Richard Schlogl of New Orleans, La. Don was preceded in death by a son. All services will be held in St. Louis at the convenience of the family.
