Donna Kay Solyan

Donna Kay Solyan of Stewartstown, PA, peacefully passed away on February 9, 2023. Born on September 21, 1944 in Wichita Falls, TX to the late Edward William and Irene Agnes Entrop née Jungman. She shared 56 wonderful years of marriage to the late George Robert “Bob” Solyan. Donna enjoyed reading, writing, gardening and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Weber State University. Donna worked as a journalist and editor until retiring in 2011. She was employed by Stars & Stripes, The Voice, AFRRI and many other local publications in areas she lived throughout the years.

Donna is survived by her loving daughters, Jennifer Osborne, her husband Robert, and Amanda Maurer; four grandchildren, Emily and Madison Osborne and Ella and Reagan Maurer; three siblings, Edward Entrop, Glenda Gilliam, and Janice Wells; along with many nieces & nephews whom she adored.
