Dorcas Belle Shue, 77, of White Hall, MD passed peacefully in her home January 24, 2022. She was survived by her loving boyfriend of 30 years, Donald F. Dill, Jr. Born February 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Edgar M. and Zada (Boyce) Crisamore. Dorcas worked at Greens Dairy and Rutters, loved gardening, cooking, and dancing. She was exceptional at canning, and loved making banana bread and giving it away to friends and family. Bread and butter pickles were her favorite. Along with her boyfriend Donald, Dorcas is survived by two sons, William Milton Shue and wife, Lori of Camden, DE and Edgar Charles Shue and wife, Michelle of Carlisle, PA; five grandchildren, Cheyanne Elizabeth Shue, Kristin Amber Perry, Andrew Charles Shue, Brenda Hope Wible, and Heather Hogan; two great grandchildren, Alexander Maximus Shue, and Charlene Hope Milton; four sisters, Joanna Z. Ivey of York, Zada Belle Crisamore of York, Rosalee Miller of York, and Edwina M. Harris of Mechanicsburg; and two brothers, Norman M. Crisamore of York, and Paul D. Crisamore of Wellsville. Dorcas was preceded in death by six siblings, Hanna K. Spangler, twin brother, Dorsey B. Crisamore, Noami R. Zirkle, Richard E. Crisamore, James E. Crisamore Sr., and Joseph Earl Crisamore Sr. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 12:00 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. 2nd St. New Freedom. Service will follow at 12:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Stablers Cemetery, 1233 Stabler’s Church Rd. Parkton, MD 21120.
