Doris R. Thompson

Doris R. Thompson, 85 of Parkton, MD, died peacefully at home on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born, July 11, 1936 in Parkton, MD. Doris was the daughter of the late C. Marshall Neeper and Ruth A. (Smithson) Neeper. She was a member of the first graduating class at Hereford High School. Doris worked for Black & Decker for 48 years and retired as an Account Executive. She worked as a volunteer at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center for over 40 years and was an active member in her church and in her community. She traveled the world for business and pleasure, but her favorite place to be was at home in Parkton, surrounded by her cats. She was a member of Parke Memorial United Methodist Church, Parkton, MD. She is survived by her niece, Anita Snyder; great-nephew, Dillon Snyder; and aunt, Catherine Herbert. She was preceded in death by her brother, William M. Neeper. A private service will be held by the family and interment with be in Stablers United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, MD.
