Dorotha "Dee" Waymond Orwig

Dorotha "Dee" Waymond Orwig, 89, of Seven Valleys, PA passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024. Born in Danville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Jewell Columbus and Regina (McCarrell) George. She was married to the late William “Bill” F. Orwig for 54 years until his passing in 2009.

She is survived by her three children Randall “Randy”Eugene Orwig (Tina), William “Tim” Timothy Orwig, and Christopher “Chris” George Orwig (Shelley); grandchildren Nathan Randall Orwig, Nicholas “Nick” Robert Orwig (Emily), Hunter Lee Orwig (Jody), and Makayla Leann Orwig; brother William Paul George; and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorotha was preceded in death by her brother Richard Lum George.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2024, at New Freedom Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.  at the VFW located at 25 N. Main Street Stewartstown Pa.
