Dorothy Lynn Rockwood

Dorothy Lynn Rockwood, 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, two days after her dear husband, Norman H. Rockwood, passed away. She was born in Queens, NY, a daughter of the late Frank A. and Dorothy Gail (Lomer) Rutkowski.Dorothy enjoyed the company of friends and the outdoors. She especially enjoyed feeding the horses when they resided in West Virginia. Surviving are her three children, Harry A. Sipes Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Catonsville, Md., William E. Sipes Sr. and his wife, Donna Michele of Hanover, PA., and Robert M. Sipes and his wife, Denise Settar of Finksburg, Md. Dorothy had 6 grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Allisun, William, Nicholas, andMadison, and a sister-in-law, Patricia Rutkowski, of Winfield, Md. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Rutkowski. There will be a gathering honoring both Dorothy’s and Norman’s life on Sunday, August 29, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St., New Freedom, PA, 17349 from 1-4 p.m. Services and interment will be at the convenience of their family.
