Earl T. Baker Jr. "Butch"

Earl T. Baker Jr. “Butch”, 80, of Felton, PA, formerly of Millers, MD, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, with his family by his side.  He was the loving husband of Katherine Baker and together they shared almost 60 years of marriage.  Butch is survived by his son David and wife Dana, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Samantha, Audrey, Joshua and Joseph, sister Georgia and husband Francis Ricketts, nephew Jeffrey Ricketts and wife Stephanie, and their sons, Jeffrey and Matthew.  Butch is preceded in death by his son Thomas and his niece, Wendy Basmajian.

Butch worked for the former Western Electric until he retired in 1999.  He spent his time hunting, fishing, maintaining his and Kathy’s property, entertaining friends, and taking his grandkids on treasure hunts.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 315 N. Constitution Ave. New Freedom, PA 17349.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Butch’s name may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
