Earl E. Heindel, Jr.

Earl E. Heindel, Jr., 84, of New Freedom, died Monday, February 17, 2025. He was the husband of the late Gloria M. Heindel, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born May 27, 1940, in New Freedom. Earl was the son of the late Earl E., Sr. and Mary S. (Walker) Heindel.

He was a 1958 graduate of Susquehannock High School. Earl worked as a plumber for over 44 years in Southern York County. He was a member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, Glen Rock American Legion, and a social member of New Freedom V.F.W.

He is survived by his cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister Doris Shaffer.

There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. John C. Dorr, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Earl’s name may be made to Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
