Earline Nova Neal (Wertz)

Earline Nova Neal, 91, from Freeland, MD passed away on Dec. 1, 2015 at the Dove House-Carroll Hospice, Westminster, MD. Born on May 16, 1924 in New Freedom, PA to the late Thomas J. and Leola (Marshall) Wertz. Loving wife of the late Edgar P. "Butch" Neal. Earline was a member of St. Paul's Independent Church in Millers, MD. She was employed for many years with the former American Insulator in New Freedom. Earline enjoyed square dancing, day trips, listening to music, bluegrass festivals, playing cards, family outings and reunions. Surviving are sons, Paul E. Neal and his wife Nancy, James Mike Neal and his wife Carole and Thomas W. Neal and his late wife Alberta Ruth; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Crouse; brothers, Thomas J. Wertz and Donald G. Wertz. She was predeceased in death by a son, Edgar C. Neal. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Middletown Cemetery, Freeland, MD. Rev. Donald L. Holloway will be officiating.
