Edward Anthony Dema

Edward Anthony Dema, Sr., 73, of Joppa, MD passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was the husband of the late Shirley A. Dema. Born in Bronx, New York on September 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Peter Joseph and Helen (Posko) Dema. He was employed as a superintendent for Baltimore City Water and Waste Water Department. Edward is survived by his two children, Edward A. Dema, Jr. (Susan) and Betty D. Bierman (Von); five grandchildren, Edward Anthony Dema III, Krysten Dema, McKenzie Bierman, Joey Bierman and Alli Bierman. There will be a viewing from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.Interment will follow in Middletown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: American Cancer Society; P.O.
