Edward J. "Jerry" Finn

On Sunday, September 18, 2016, Edward J. “Jerry” Finn, 77, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Norristown, died at York Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy K. (Whelan) Finn. A public viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Fr. Anthony R. Dill and Fr. Robert A. Yohe, Jr. will concelebrate. He was born March 3, 1939, in Wilmington, Del. to the late Melba (Cramer) and Edward J. Finn, Sr. Jerry received a Bachelor of Science in Economics Degree from Villanova University. He was a CPA and retired from Stockton-Bates and Co. in Philadelphia, where he retired as a Senior Managing Partner. He was a member of That Man Is You (TMIY) and also a member and former Treasurer of the Aronomick Golf Club in Newton Square. Jerry is survived by his wife; five children, Patrick M. Finn, Sheila A. Benner, Daniel J. Finn, Christopher J. Finn and Maureen T. Dion; 17 grandchildren, Kayla and Ryan Finn, Ben Williams, Patrick Shinn, Matthew and Brennon Klee, Justin Finn, Lauren Keeling, Elli, Eva, Aiden, Maera and Anya Finn, Cecilia, Dominic, Tommy and Michael Dion; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, Jaxson and Asher Williams; and two sisters, Carolyn McInerney and Joyce D.
