Edwin Roy Melhorn

Edwin Roy Melhorn, 98, of Timonium, Md., passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024.  Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son to the late William and Emma (Snyder) Melhorn.

He was the loving husband to the late Angela (Giordano) Melhorn.

Edwin served in the U.S. Maritime Services from 1943-1945. He worked for IBM for 27 years as an Administration Manager. He was also a licensed pastor in the United Methodist Church for many years, serving in New York, Massachusetts, and Maryland.

Edwin is survived by two children, Robert E. Melhorn (Pauline) and Barbara J. Coward (John Hibel); three grandchildren, Sarah Melhorn, Christopher Coward, and Matthew Coward.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Ann Melhorn and brother William Melhorn, in addition to his parents.

A graveside service will be held at  Cedar Grove U.M. Cemetery on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
