Elizabeth R. Brown

Elizabeth R. Brown, 93, of Seven Valleys, PA formerly of Patchogue passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. She was the wife of the late George H. Brown, Sr. who passed away in 2014. Born in Bay Shore, New York. Elizabeth was a secretary most of her career and was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene while living for many years on Patchogue, New York. She was very family focused and directed her attention and devotion to caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elizabeth is survived by her two sons George H. Brown, Jr. and his wife Kathleenand Thomas D. Brown and his wife Kimberly; five grandchildren Leslie, Alison, Kate, Brad and Emily; 12 great-grandchildren Sarah, Noelle, Noami, Amelia, Samuel, Caleb, Oliver, Finn, Elijah, Luca, Josie and Sophia; three siblings Donald Barbour, Marjorie Rickert and David Barbour. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10AM from the Chapel of Country Meadows of York-Leader Heights, 2760 Pine Grove Road, York, PA 17403. Interment will follow in Loganville Haven of Rest Cemetery. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc in New Freedom, PA is assisting the family.
