Emma Catherine Mosca (aka-Kay), 92, passed away on October 26, 2022. Kay was born on November 15, 1929 in Baltimore, MD, to the late William P. and Julia R. (Kubin) Theis. Kay was a loving wife for 66 years to the late John J. Mosca, Sr.
Kay worked for Franklin Square Hospital for 30 years, wearing her high heels and taking the stairs as she delivered medications throughout the hospital. After she left the hospital, she worked at Baltimore County Schools as a cafeteria worker and was recognized as the oldest cafeteria worker, retiring at age 79. She loved to exercise and kept a tidy house. She even bleached her Essex sidewalk to make it look nice! She always looked beautiful. Kay was the life of the party by singing, tap dancing, and laughing.
Kay is survived by her loving children John Mosca, Jr. (Christin-wife), and Barbara Buchar; grandchildren, Kim (Philippe-husband), Ryan (Hannah-wife), Shannon, Stephanie, John; great-grandchildren, Jake, Karissa, Zane, Brody, Gwen, Olivia, and Addison. She was loved and respected by many and will be missed by all.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 26 th at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, MD, 21224.
