Esther Dianne 'Di' Donahue

Esther Dianne ‘Di’ Donahue, 67, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Born in Mountain City , Tennessee, she was the daughter to the late Jack and June (Garland) Sluder. She was the loving wife of the late William “Bill” N. Donahue, III who passed away in 2021 after 45 years of marriage.

Dianne was a member of the Lioness Club, an avid cross-stitcher, and she loved the Wizard of Oz. She always believed, “that if one person’s life was better because she lived then her life was worth living”. Dianne was also a foster mother, and changed the lives of many children.

Dianne is survived by her four children, Robert Donahue, Niki Donahue, Constance Bailey, Angela Bailey; three grandchildren, Kody Bonitz, Karly Bonitz, and Brandon Butts; nieces and nephews, Brian Sluder, Jamie DeVault, Dalton DeVault; great nieces and nephews, Brian “Monkey” Sluder, Jr., Brianna Colvin, Liam Dolan, Creedon DeVault; and four siblings, David Sluder, Cindy Bublinec, Theresa Taylor, Rick Sluder; and several aunts and uncles. Dianne will also be missed by her many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Leslie Sluder; a nephew Shawn DeVault, and niece Selina Sluder.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2 ^nd St., New Freedom, PA 17349. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
