Ethel A. Wayne

Ethel A. Wayne, 98, of Airville, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was the wife of the late Paul Taylor and the late Harvey W. Wayne. Born in Freeland, MD, Ethel was the daughter of the late William H. and Hattie R. (Hoffman) Bosley. Ethel worked at the former Fawn Manufacturing Co. in Fawn Grove, PAfor 17 years and then D& D Sewing Co. in Delta for 17 years prior to retiring in 1981. She was a longtime member of Chanceford Presbyterian Church in Airville and a member of the Delta VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed square dancing at Holiday Squares in Leesburg, FL and Stewartstown Promenaders. She is survived by two daughters Jean Amspacher Eby and Nancy P. Arnold; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; a sister Virginia Edwards and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings Herbert Bosley, William Bosley, and Dorothy Gosnell. Viewing will be on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Parkton, MD.
