Eugene “Gene” W. Glass, 66, of Felton, PA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son to the late Albert and Betty Glass.
Gene enjoyed his regular trips to his cabin in the mountains to shoot his guns, hunt and fish. He like to hunt for deer, squirrels, and was getting into turkey hunting. He worked for Stanley Black and Decker for 26 years, mainly as a Dye Setter, but also as a Jockey Driver, helping truck drivers get their trailers to and from the loading docks. He was known to many as a workaholic; you couldn’t get him to stop working. Gene received many certificates during this time at Black and Decker as well. Even though he was straight forward, stern, and stubborn, he had a great sense of humor and was always telling jokes.
Gene is survived by his son, Eugene L. Glass; daughter-in-law, Daniell Glass; grandchildren, Alek M. Glass, Paige A. Glass, and Kenzie K. Glass; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Albie, Carson, and Debby. He was preceded in death by his sister Pam.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
