Eugene L. Hansel

Eugene L. “Gene” Hansel, Jr., 48, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Cathy Ruth Lutman and the late Eugene Leonard Hansel. He was the husband of Jennifer Anne (Nolan) Hansel, sharing five years of marriage together. In addition to his mother, Cathy and wife, Jennifer, Gene is survived by his son, Noah Eugene Hansel; brother, Sammuel Hansel and his fiancé Tabby; step- daughter, Amanda Jean Nolan; nephew, Tyler Hansel; father – in- law, John J. Nolan and mother-in-law, Diane. He will also be missed by his best pal, Walter. Gene graduated from Dallastown High School and was a United States Marine Veteran.He worked as a Process Engineer at RHI Magnesita Refractories Company for many years. Gene enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved living life to the fullest. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 7:30PM – 10:00PM at the VFW; 4800 W Market St, York, PA 17408.
