Eva Theresa Lucabaugh

Eva Theresa Lucabaugh, 88, of Glen Rock, PA entered eternal life on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at York Hospital.She was the wife of the late Elmer L. Lucabaugh to whom she was married for 62 years. Born on May 29, 1933 in Bonneauville, PA, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Eva A. (Weaver) Kuhn. Eva is survived by six children, Daniel L. Lucabaugh and wife Darlene of Spring Grove, Nancy J. Geiman and husband Thomas of Valley Center, Calif., Sandra A. Nafe of Hanover, Fred A. Lucabaugh and wife Linda of Hanover, Lori A. Kohler and husband Chuck of Glenville, and Richard E. Lucabaugh of Glen Rock.She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, John E. Kuhn of Bonneauville, PA.She was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Kuhn, Harry Kuhn, Charles Kuhn, Paul Kuhn, Bernard Kuhn, and Clarence Kuhn, and sisters, Mary Gastley, Anna Mae Aughinbaugh, Emma Jane Cassatt, Dorothy DeFontes, Rose Sentz, Agnes Altland, and Teresa Laughman. Eva was a farmer’s wife, housewife, enjoyed bowling, shopping, yard sales, Find-a-Word puzzles, sharing a cup coffee with a friend, relaxing on the swing under the maple tree, traveling with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N Second St, New Freedom, PA.A funeral service will held Friday, September 17, 2021 with a viewing from 10 to 11 AM followed by the service officiated by Rev. John C. Dorr, Jr. at the mortuary.Burial will be in Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery, Glen Rock PA.
