Frances M. Schuppert, 99, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, York. She was the wife of the late Leo V. Schuppert. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mortuary, with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Interment will be in St. John The Baptist Cemetery, New Freedom. Frances was born October 31, 1916, in Parkton, Md., a daughter of the late Frank L. Wilson, Sr. and the late Mary Agnes (Shuppert) Wilson. Frances was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in New Freedom for over 60 years. She worked at the former W. C. Anstine & Son Sewing Factory in Railroad for over 35 years. Frances and her late husband Leo farmed in Shrewsbury Township most of their life. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed gardening. Frances loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances is survived by a son, Leo V. Schuppert, Jr. and his late wife Linda of York; two grandchildren, Aimee Stalnaker and Brian Schuppert; four great-grandchildren, Lucas, Elise, Rowan and Tyler; two sisters, Hazel Keeney of Shrewsbury and Ethel Bennett of Phoenix, Md.
