Frances M. Tracey

Frances M. Tracey, 91, of Freeland, MD passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at SpiriTrust Lutheran in Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Tracey who passed away in 2005. At the time of his death they had been married for 57 years. Born in Parkton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Carrie M. (Dailey) Turnbaugh. Frances loved to cook and bake especially Christmas cookies. Her and her late husband also raised foster children for many years. Frances enjoyed, canning, gardening and caring for her flowers that were her pride and joy. She was a very strong independent woman and was a woman of great faith. She will be greatly missed by her family. Frances is survived by her daughter Joanne F. McCullough and husband Richard of Freeland, two grandchildren Jessica McCullough and partner Brett Martin and Justin McCullough and wife Lauren; three great-grandchildren Presley and Cash McCullough and Cole Martin; foster children Donna Martin, Eileen Cohen-Wise and Bonnie Lovelace; one brother Ralph Turnbaugh and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers Walter, Allen, Robert, William and Maurice Turnbaugh. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
