Francis John Yakel Iii

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved, Frankie Yakel. Frankie, 61, of Shrewsbury, PA passed peacefully February 16th, 2024 at York Hospital after his long standing battle with chronic illness. He spent his final days receiving visits from family members and his closest friends.

Frankie is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Yakel; his two daughters: Amanda Kroner and Melanie Bowles as well as his son in law John Bowles; his three grandchildren: Jayden, Sophia and Sadie. His siblings: Stephanie, Brian and sister in law Regina; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by his mother Janet Runkles as well as his nephew Vincent De’Angelo.

Frankie was loved by many and will truly be missed. Per his wishes there will not be a funeral at this time; A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers- donations can be made to:
