Gary Edward Korber

Gary Edward Korber, 73, of Seven Valleys, PA, formerly of Wilmore, PA, passed away on November 11, 2024. Born August 10, 1951, in Bon Air, Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Fedorka) Korber. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margie and Mary, and a brother, David. He also had a sister, Sandy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy (Miller) Korber, daughter Kelly and her husband, Jeff Beyer; and five grandchildren, Katelyn, Grace, Jeffrey, Joshua, and Matthew. Also surviving from Nancy’s family are: a brother, David and his wife, Kathryn, and two sisters, Donna Miller and Susan Gramling and her husband, Barri. Gary was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Edwin.

Gary worked at Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, and in Sparrows Point, Maryland- where he worked for over 40 years. He also did HVAC work for Miller Picking of Davidsville, PA. After retirement, he enjoyed working for Dunbar Armoured Car Service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping and boating at Raystown, and spending time with his family – especially his five grandchildren – who he adored! He attended their numerous sporting events and loved to cheer them on. He was also an avid Steelers Fan his whole life!
