Gary Kevin Labarre

Gary Kevin LaBarre, 70, of Lineboro, MD passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Gary was the loving husband of Debbra “Deb” Ann (Hobbie) LaBarre. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Bertha “Bert” (Biddison) and Willard LaBarre.

In addition to his wife Deb, he is survived by his two children Dawn January and her husband Michael and Michael LaBarre and his wife Erin; four grandchildren Conner and Evan January and Kenzie and Kevin LaBarre; and his brother Dave LaBarre and his wife Sally.

Gary received his master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. He worked in electrical, software, and systems engineering at Northrop Grumman Corporation. He served as a Amateur Radio Volunteer Examiner (VE), enjoyed classic cars, camping, spending time with family, watching wildlife and being outdoors.

There will be a viewing on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349.
