George Gordon Miller

On Monday, May 27, 2019, George G. Miller, 73, passed away at Rest Haven in York. He was the beloved companion of Janet M. Cofiell. George was born on January 7, 1946 in Baltimore City, MD to the late Theodore A. and Thelma E. (Doster) Miller. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Miller; two grandchildren, Courtney Heavel , and Andrew Hyle; three siblings, Donna Miller, Hester Miller, and Calvin Chandler. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Brooke Ann Miller, and one brother, Andrew Miller. Public viewing will be on Monday, June 3, from 7-9pm at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, where a funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 4, at 12pm. Interment will follow in Middletown Cemetery, Freeland, MD. Rev. Aaron Cope will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
