Glenn Edward Fleischman

On Monday, February 3, 2020, Glenn E. Fleischman, 84, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital.He was the loving husband of Barbara G. (Armentrout) Fleischman for 31 years.He was born on May 29, 1935 in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Glenn M. Fleischman and the late Gladys (Brown) Moore. Glenn proudly served his country in the US Air Force, being assigned to the 386th Fighter Bomber Squadron.After his service, he worked as a HVAC Mechanic for what is now Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital for 20 years until he retired in 2000. He was a mason of Corinthian Lodge #93 in Baltimore, MD; a Scottish Rite Mason; a Boumi Shriner; and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Highland Chapter #33.In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed DIY jobs around the house to keep himself busy. Glenn is survived by his wife, Barbara; two step-children, Mike Culbreth and wife Donna, and Beth Culbreth; one sister-in-law, Wilda Armentrout and her children, Klark and Peggy Byrd.He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Charlene Wallace. Services are private at the family’s request.
