Grace M. Looney

Grace Mary Looney, 78, of Stewartstown passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late John J. Looney who passed away in 2006. Born in Paterson, NJ she was the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Kunis) Robertson. Grace was a very active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom where she was a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at many church functions. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Grace will be remembered with love by her three children Audrey E., wife of Edward Stadnick of Jefferson, MD, John E. Looney and partner Mark Tweed of Stewartstown and Grace P., wife of Michael Dell of Felton; three grandchildren Scott Stadnick, Lauren, wife of Patrick Herrity and Tyler Dell. She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Robertson. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 12:00PM from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave. New Freedom with Rev. Robert A. Yohe, Jr. as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A visitation with her family will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church.
