Harry E. Schreiber

Harry E. Schreiber Sr., 84, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was the devoted husband of the late Kathleen Mary (Kalbskopf) Schreiber who passed on June 11, 2019. Born in Baltimore County, Md., Harry was the son of the late Henry W. Schreiber Sr. and Marion (Dunn) Schreiber. Harry was a maintenance mechanic for Hedwin Corp. for over 37 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. Harry was kind and compassionate and was an absolute legend in his neighborhood and wherever he went. Surviving is a son, Harry E. Schreiber Jr. and his wife, Dee of Glenville; 4 grandchildren, Sam, Shelby, Sara, and Paul Jr.; and a great granddaughter, Sophia. Harry was preceded in death by his son, Paul Schreiber and a brother, Henry W. Schreiber Jr. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, July 13, from 10-11 a.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, with a funeral service starting at 11 a.m.Harry will be laid to rest next to his loving wife in Jefferson Cemetery, Codorus. Please omit flowers.
