Hazel M. Muller (Ewell)

Hazel M. Ewell Muller, 88, died on Saturday, April 9, 2016, after a brief illness, at her home in York. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Daniel F. (Tom) Muller, and her parents, Lottie J. Burkins Ewell and William L. Ewell, both from the Fawn Area. She was also predeceased by siblings, Paul and Glen Ewell, Gladys Grove, Ruth Rohrbaugh and Edna Vencil.Hazel is survived by three children, W. Daniel Muller and his wife Paula of York, Sally M. Muller Miller and her husband Larry of York, and Janie L. Muller of York. She also leaves three grandchildren, Michelle M. Miller and her husband Daniel Pucca of New York City, Timothy J. Miller and his wife Katie of York, and Angela C. Muller of York. Hazel also has two great-granddaughters, Milena M. Pucca and Anna Grace Miller; and many nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA, where a funeral service will held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13. The Rev. Melissa A. McDade will officiate. Interment is private.
