Heather Michelle Fowble

Heather Michelle Fowble, 25, died Monday, September 12, 2016. She was the daughter of Lemuel Lee Fowble, Jr., and his fiancée, Betty Ann Murray of Hampstead, and Michelle L. Ober and her husband, David of Stewartstown. A viewing will be held from 3 to 5 pm and again from 7 to 9 pm on Friday, September 16, at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. The funeral service will begin at 10 am Saturday, September 17 at the mortuary with Rev. David W. Burk officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery, Parkton, MD. Heather’s family requests that those who attend honor her by wearing bright colors. Born July 30, 1991 in Baltimore, MD, Heather was a 2009 graduate of Hereford High School, Hereford, MD. She was a member of Hereford Volunteer Fire Company’s Junior Firefighter program, actively supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and was especially fond of black cats. Heather was an unforgettable person to all whom she met and described herself as a “party in a box.” She considered her family her life. Also surviving are her fiancé, David W. Cole, a sister, Tiffany L. Underwood and her husband, Matthew of Stewartstown; niece and nephews, Sasha, Landon and Matty Underwood; paternal grandmother, LeRena L. Barnhart of Dallastown; maternal grandparents, George E. and Peggy L. Lang of Parkton, MD; stepgrandparents, Yvonne Richardson and her husband, William of Winterstown; her maternal great grandmother, Doris Eileen Miller of Shrewsbury; and her “adopted” sister, Caroline White. Memorial contributions in Heather’s name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Maryland Chapter, 10626 York Road, Suite A, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
