Helen Romaine Doster (Brenneman)

On Friday, March 02, 2018, Helen R. (Brenneman) Doster, 91, passed away at the Senior Commons at Powder Mill in York.She was the wife of the late Donald Doster, Sr. Helen was born August 23, 1926 in York to the late Harvey and Mary Brenneman.In her working years, she worked as a foreman until retirement for Thomas Manufacturing in Parkton, MD. Helen was a member of Bentley Springs United Methodist Church and the Bentley United Methodist Ladies in Parkton, MD; Order of the Eastern Star, Parkton Lodge #42; Parkton American Legion Post #256 Ladies Auxiliary; New Freedom VFW Post #7012 Ladies Auxiliary; and the Maryland Line Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Helen is survived by her children, Donald Doster, Jr. and wife Peggy, and Deborah Bonitz and husband Tony; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 6 siblings, and one great-granddaughter. Public viewing will be from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, March 9 and again on Saturday, March 10 from 10am until a funeral service begins at 11am at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N.
