Herschel W. Boyd

Herschel W. Boyd, 75, of The Gardens at West Shore, Camp Hill, PA, formerly of Stewartstown, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was the loving husband of Dorine (Parks) Boyd and they were married in 1965. Born in Tazewell, VA, he was the son of the late Sherman E. and Clara Beatrice (Graham) Boyd. Herschel worked in the construction business for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, and was a social member of the American Legion Post #455 in Stewartstown. He was a devoted family man and his joy was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Michael Boyd, Christopher Boyd and his wife, Becky, and Timothy Boyd; two grandchildren, Brittany Marie Boyd and Briana Lee Boyd; and three siblings, Edward Boyd and his wife, Lucy, Blanche Lloyd and her husband, Norman, and Alice Dowell and her husband, Ivan. Herschel was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Boyd. Services and interment are at the convenience of the family.
