James T. Anderson

James T. Anderson, 76, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Mabel (Little) Anderson and they celebrated 53 years of marriage in January 2018. Born in Stewartstown on the family farm, Jim was the son of the late Ralph A. and Miriam G. (Neel) Anderson. He was owner/operator of his family farm. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, James T. Anderson, Jr. and his wife Cynthia, and Ralph E. Anderson, and his wife Beverly, both of Stewartstown, and Diane L. Smith, and her husband Matthew of Manheim; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janice Richardson and Emma Lloyd. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Donald Anderson, Miriam Winemiller, and Marge Dawson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, November 12, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Stewartstown Cemetery.
