Jane Carole Zarfoss

Jane C. (Gladfelter) Zarfoss, 76, entered into heaven on February 6, 2023, at her home in York after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late David C. Zarfoss.

There will be a viewing at Turnpike Baptist Church, 519 S. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA, 17361 on Saturday, February 18 ^th from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. The funeral will begin at 12:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jeff Feeser officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Yoe Union Cemetery.  There will be a luncheon following the burial at Glenview Alliance Church, 10037 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA, 17327.

Born November 4, 1946 in Yoe, PA, Jane was the daughter of the late Earl E. and A. Frances (Snyder) Gladfelter. She will always be remembered as a loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister,sister-in-law and friend.

Mrs. Zarfoss is survived by her children, John D. Zarfoss and his wife, Pamela S. of Felton, Joanne C. Flemmens and her husband, Douglas D. of Loganville, Jeffrey L. Zarfoss and his wife, Kristy L. of Red Lion and Jeanette M. Leiphart and her husband, Michael L. of  York;  Nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one step great grandchild; her sister, Nancy L. Godfrey and her husband, Thomas W. of Shrewsbury; sisters-in-law, Debra S. Innerst and her husband, Thomas of Ickesburg, PA and Diane Zarfoss and Shery Hutchinson of Somerset, KY; many nieces and nephews; Jane was preceded in death by her sisters; Patricia Skinner and Joanne Gladfelter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Zarfoss’ name may be made to the Christian Retreat Center, 369 CRC Drive, East Waterford, PA, 17021 or to Turnpike Baptist Church at the address listed above.
