Janet E. Bond

Janet E. (Howard) Bond,73, of Pylesville, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late James L. Bond.Growing up in Cockeysville, Janet was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Elizabeth M. (Hodge) Howard. She is survived by a son James K. Cole; 2 grandchildren Alexis and Joseph Cole; 2 great grandchildren Ava and Landon; 2 sisters Julia Engle and Margaret Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Lee G. Cole and 4 siblings Fred Howard, Pat Welk, Marion Howard, and George Howard. She retired in 2008 from A.A.I. after 30 years of service as a Data Manager. Viewings will be on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 3-5p.m. & 7-9 p.m.at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s United Methodist Cemetery.
