Janet was born on December 3, 1935, in Mineola, New York, to parents Raymond Charles Ross and Jeannette M. Ross. Her older brother, Ronald Ross, passed on before her. Janet graduated from Mineola High School in Mineola, New York and married her high school sweetheart. Recently, they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Janet was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and servant of the living God, Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. She was lovingly called “Gran” as a term of endearment by all her family. Always being socially engaging, “Gran” was deeply involved in caring for others her entire life long. She enjoyed family-gatherings, home decorating, and art. Family and friends will always remember her as a generous, loving, fun-filled person with the joy of the Lord as her strength. There will be a public viewing from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday on February 26, 2022, at the Shrewsbury Assembly of God Church, 234 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, PA, with a funeral beginning at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Janet’s life. Interment is private and at the convenience of her family.
