Janice Fundaro (Martin)

On Thursday, December 15, 2016, Janice Fundaro, 66, died at home with family at her side. She was the wife of Gaetano "Guy" V. Fundaro for 45 years. A public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second Street, New Freedom. Interment will be private. Janice was born October 12, 1950, to the late Sebert and Rose (Dimango) Martin. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Dallastown. Janice was employed with McCormick & Company in Hunt Valley, Md., for over 45 years. She was a volunteer with Jacobus Lions Ambulance for 18 years and was also an EMT. She is survived by her husband, Guy; daughter, Laura M. Gurreri and husband, David; two grandchildren, Giuseppe and Giuliana; siblings, Bert Martin and wife, Sharon and Joan Baur and husband, Siegfried; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Hager; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Hager. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, St. Jude Tribute Program or the American Red Cross.
