Jean Lowe

Jean Kidd Lowe, 93, of Katy, Texas, formally of Tiptonville, Tennessee, passed away on February 2, 2020. She was the wife of the late F. Kent Lowe. Born in Rayville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry Coleman and Mable Wheeler Kidd. Surviving is son, Frank Lowe and his wife Joanne of Katy, Texas; daughter Debra Woolworth and her husband Brian of Nolensville, Tennessee; brother Charles Kidd of McHenry, Maryland; sisters Margaret Tate and Ruth Jowais of Winter Haven, Florida and granddaughter Blakely Coleman Lowe of Katy, Texas. Jean enjoyed sewing, playing cards and the challenge of a good puzzle. She loved socializing with her wonderful friends and neighbors. Jean was active in her Sunday school class at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Katy, Texas. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Bethel Presbyterian Church; 4135 Norrisville Rd., White Hall, MD 21161. Interment will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery.
