Jeanette Eileen Fisher

Jeanette Eileen Fisher, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ira Thomas Fisher, Jr. Born in Baltimore, Maryland she was a daughter of the late Raymond Thomas and Annie Margaret (Smith) Ensey. Jeanette loved to go shopping, travel to flea markets and was a great seamstress. She enjoyed babysitting and playing the guitar and singing with her late husband Ira. Jeanette was a country music fan of Patsy Cline, Elvis, and George Jones to name a few and was always interested in the supernatural. She is survived by three childrenJanet Repoley of Shrewsbury, Susan Thornton of Hellam and Ira Thomas Fisher, III of Shrewsbury; five grandchildren Melissa, Mark, Feeney, Charity and Holly; seven great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Eli, Mark, Jr., Angel, Remello, Allen and Hadley; two siblings Vera and Melvin. Jeanette was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jessica and siblings Joyce, Anna, Pearl, Audy, Helen, Bobby, Jerry, Raymond, Albert, Mary, Eva and Harry. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 5PM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St. New Freedom. Interment will be private. A viewing will be held from 3PM until the time of her service at the funeral home.
