Jennifer Katherine Smith (Troyer)

Jennifer Katherine (Troyer) Smith, 29, tragically passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. Born in York, she was the beloved daughter of Steve and Cheryl D. (Dykes) Troyer of White Hall, MD.A graduate of New Freedom Christian School, Jennifer’s passion and her life focused on her two boys, Everett and Wyatt. Surviving in addition to her parents and her two children are her maternal grandparents, Lowell and Lucille Dykes, Monkton, MD; 3 brothers, Stephen and Chance Troyer, and Michael Sample, and 3 sisters, Sarah, Ashley, and Lillian Troyer. Jennifer was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Emma E. (Troyer) Murphy in June of 2011. There will be a visitation honoring Jennifer’s life from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Freeland, MD 21053, with Rev. Ross N. Jones officiating.
