One year visiting the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Painted Desert, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas in one two-week vacation. Upon Bill’s retirement from the Navy, they settled in Reisterstown, Maryland, near his childhood home. After several more moves over the years, they ended up in one of Joan’s favorite places to live, Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Even in retirement they traveled once to Ireland alone and again to Ireland and England. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She leaves behind two sons: David R.
