Joanie E. Jones

Joanie E. Jones, 81, passed away at her home in Stewartstown, on April 15 ^th , with her daughters at her side.  She was born on December 31, 1941, in Stewartstown, PA, to the late Charles “Sol” Solomon Fix and Pearl Doris (Clark) Fix.

Joanie graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 1959. She was employed by Amp, Inc. for over 35 years and retired as a Fiber Optics Inspector. Joanie enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards, and trips to the local casinos. She also loved to cook and bake, but her true passion was spending time with her family. Joanie was loved for her smile, laugh and wonderful sense of humor. One of her favorite quotes was “God don’t want me and the devil won’t have me!”

Joanie is survived by her loving daughters; Amber Krieg of Holland, Michigan and Jody Keesee of Stewartstown, PA; six grandchildren, Gabe and Grace Gladfelter, Caleb and Chaya Krieg and Jacob and Kelsi Keesee; four great grandchildren; brother, William Fix and his wife, Lilly, of Loganville, PA; she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene “Gino” Gladfelter and siblings, Robert Fix, Charles Fix, and Norma Vaught.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
