Johnathon Omar Vasquez passed away at 31 years young on August 29, 2023. He was born in York, PA. Johnathon was the loving husband to Cherontae Y. Vasquez and the son of Fernando and Jannette (Rivera) Vazquez.
John “JV” was described as a generous, funny, and helpful man. He was a handyman and landscaper, and helped people whenever he could. Anyone who got the chance to meet him knew he loved his wife and family above anything else. JV was a photographer who had a passion for being a social media influencer on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. He enjoyed the amusement parks, thrill rides, going out with friends, and traveling - especially to the beach.
John had numerous hobbies such as roller skating, kayaking, and fishing. He was also a shoe fanatic with a love for motorcycles, action movies, UFC, and steak - particularly from Texas Roadhouse. JV was the definition of a people person. You couldn’t be around him for too long without ultimately laughing til your stomach hurt.
He was amazingly good with children, and could make a connection within seconds of spending time with them that often led to an ever lasting bond.
In addition to his wife and parents, JV, who was affectionately referred to as “Tano” by his family, is survived by 7 siblings, Lisi, Fernandito, Jovanny (December), Orlando, Fernando “Gordo”, Iesa, and Keila; his nephew, Jovanny “Junior” and niece, Liana; 7 godchildren: Keila, Jaylynn, Z’aira, Keilah, Zendaya, Jru, and Genesis; along with many extended family members, in-laws, and friends.
One thing we can all learn from John is to not ever take a day for granted. Spread happiness when you can and live your life with the people you love.
