Joshua Michael Ambrose

Joshua Michael Ambrose, 36, passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was the beloved son of Calvin W. Ambrose Jr. and Zina (Fitzpatrick) Ambrose of New Freedom.

Josh was very intelligent, had a great sense of humor, and a heart of gold. He graduated from Susquehannock High School in 2005. Then continued his education at Shippensburg University and graduated from there in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting and minoring in Business. He was the first to graduate college in his family.

For the past four years, he was employed at Northrop Grumman as a Financial Analyst. Josh loved sports. Josh also enjoyed playing pool, going fishing, being at the beach, and spending time with his dog, Esco. Josh loved his family and those close to him.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three siblings, Jazzmin Ambrose and her husband, Matthew, Calvin Ambrose III and his wife, Carleigh, and Crystal Ambrose; and two nieces and a nephew, Caleigh Ambrose, Camden Ambrose, and Rilynn LaCombe.
